Desperate
Mom's Diary We asked a HER-stories.com contributor...What are you reading now? "Sandra Steffen's Slightly Psychic. Lila Delaney is psychic enough to find a missing woman everyone is looking for...but her happiness at finding the woman alive and well on live television is tempered by the in-her-face proof that the lost woman has actually been spending a few of those hours with Lila's fiance. In bed. No sleeping, either. So what is a psychic do after she's embarrased on live television? Run off to the country, of course, and try to solve the case of another missing woman. At least that's what Lila does. But can she keep her hands off the handsome husband who's looking for his wife?"

I always liked that nursery rhyme about "The Queen of Tarts" because it made me hungry. This selection might be a great one to do with your children after you read the rhyme to make the occasion extra special! Berry Tarts 1 package frozen puff pastry (17.3-oz) Cut pastry baking sheets in squares or rectangles. Then cut additional strips and add second layer "border" like a picture frame around your square. Brush with beaten egg and bake according to package instructions. After removing the golden-brown pastries from the oven, spread the jam in the instead of the pastry and top with your favorite berries. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar as a garnish and serve. Pictured: We show blackberry, strawberry and raspberry pastries. Our favorite was organic blackberry jam to use as a spread.
